Not far south of Savannah lies St. Simons Island, the largest of Georgia’s acclaimed Golden Isles. In addition to this island’s stunningly gorgeous beaches, charming shops and engaging history, is the St. Simons Island Lighthouse. After meeting with the kind folks at the world-class Coastal Georgia Historical Society’s Lighthouse Museum, I was inspired to make this small poster for sale in their gift shop. The lighthouse is an active navigation aid, and my favorite memory of my visit was strolling the grounds at night with the beam of light rotating above.
