The University School of Milwaukee was founded in 1851 as the German-English Academy and is the oldest of the three schools that merged to become what today is known as USM. In the latest issue of their magazine, USM Today, is a feature story about a 40-acre plot of undeveloped land on campus, which they have dedicated to restoration of native plants, and outdoor education.
