Lexington, Kentucky is best known as The Horse Capital of the World, and if you love all things equine a visit to the Kentucky Horse Park is an absolute requirement. It is also a popular destination for fans of bluegrass music and Civil War history. Oh, and if you like bourbon (America’s only native spirit), Lexington is home of the world-famous Bourbon Trail, which includes 13 distilleries with tasting rooms.
