Coronado Island

I was asked to create this map of Coronado Island, San Diego to help guide Moke drivers around town and direct them to unique attractions. Moke America rents low-speed vehicles (LSV) as a hip and fun way to tour the city. After doing some research about the island, I used emerald green for the color palette. I learned that Coronado is nicknamed “The Emerald City” after L. Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, who frequented the island and enjoyed staying at the Hotel del Coronado, often for months at a time. Baum designed the crown chandeliers in the famous Crown Room at the hotel. [Source: CoronadoNewsCA.com]

This Moke route map is the second in an ongoing series. The first was Las Vegas.
