Someday I would like to create a map of them all!

Alabama

This map was created for a travel story that focused on the gorgeous scenery of northern Alabama. It appeared in the August/September 2016 issue of Country Extra magazine. As the art director for this magazine, I tailored each map to the details of the related story. In this way, the map serves an important role in helping to orient the reader and transport him/her to a specific place. Tough this map does not show roads, it could easily be used to plan a road trip to the region.

It appears in a feature story in the Dec/Jan 2019 issue of Country magazine. I designed the map around the content in the story, to help the reader understand the geography of the region.
